This workshop is meant to demonstrate how an accounting program can help you in the financial management of your business. This session will also provide some insight into key features you may wish to include in your search for an accounting software program and whether that software or any package is right for your business.    There are many accounting software programs for small business. This program will cover the generic applications in common to virtually all accounting software, including desk top and on line versions and is not a class on how to start up or use specific accounting software.   This session will cover aspects of general navigation in accounting software, chart of account selection, input of operating transactions as well as generation of periodic financial reports.  This session is not interactive but will use Intuit’s windows based version of QuickBooks for demonstration purposes
